Affordable B&B Prices: how much will it cost?

At Wombledown Cottage we aim to make a stay with us an affordable, relaxing experience.

The competitive pricing is not a reflection of quality, however.  Our rooms are beautfully appointed and feature only the best quality linen. Accommodation at the bed and breakfast consists of either a queen-sized or king-sized bedroom. Standard prices are as follows:

Queen Room $125 per night
King Room $135 per night

At peak times a two-night minimum applies but quite often it is possible to request accommodation for a single night.

Mid-week guests are welcome, as are regular visitors, such as sales reps. Stays of three nights or more can be offered at a reduced tariff.

To secure your room you will be asked to provide credit card details over the phone when making your booking. Accommodation at the bed and breakfast  must be paid for in advance by either direct deposit, via paypal or as cash on arrival. A cancellation fee of 50 percent applies if less than 48 hours notice is given.

A note to wedding guests: we suggest you book your accommodation in the Hunter Valley well in advance of the event as local beds fill up fast at the B&Bs when there’s a wedding in town and you may struggle to find suitable accommodation if you leave it till the last minute.

This is especially true if there’s also a big event at one of the larger Hunter Valley wineries that weekend.
